What to Expect When You Choose Care Nexus

Arranging care for the first time can feel overwhelming. Most families come to us at a difficult moment, often after a health event, a hospital discharge, or a gradual recognition that a loved one needs more support than they can manage alone. This page walks you through exactly what happens from your first call to ongoing care. No jargon. No obligation.

Care Nexus is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and rated Good. Our service is led by Registered Manager Lucritia Jones and overseen by our CEO, Golam Wayes, who founded the organisation over 12 years ago.

Your Free Care Assessment

This assessment is free of charge and carries no commitment. It gives us the information we need to build a care plan that is genuinely tailored to the individual, not a generic package.

Your Care Plan

Following the assessment, we produce a written care plan. This sets out the support your loved one will receive, how often, at what times, and by whom. You will have the opportunity to review, ask questions, and request changes before any care begins.

Care plans are reviewed regularly and updated whenever the person's needs change. For clients receiving care through Redbridge, Waltham Forest, or Epping Forest councils, our care plans are aligned with local authority requirements and safeguarding standards.

Meeting Your Care Team

We take the matching of carers to clients seriously. We consider personality, communication style, language preferences, and the specific skills required for each individual's needs. Where possible, we introduce your carer before the first visit.
